Multimedia Producer and Director
Video, motion, editorial photography and interactive media.
This site is being relaunched as a simple professional hub: a concise place to connect the moving image, photography, interactive and development work without waiting for the full production archive to be finished.
Moving Image
Film, video and motion-led work.
A short overview of moving image work will live here for launch, with selected projects and deeper case studies added after the soft launch.
For now, this section is a placeholder for direction, production, editing, branded content, documentary work and motion-led storytelling. The goal is to make the homepage feel complete without pretending the full moving image archive is already built.
Photography
Editorial and documentary photography.
For now, photography lives at mikebestphoto.com.
That site remains the temporary photography archive while this domain is rebuilt. Later, mikebest.me can carry a smaller curated photography section focused on selected projects, editorial work and stronger portfolio pathways rather than trying to duplicate the entire archive immediately.
Interactive
Interactive media, systems and digital experiments.
Selected 3D, interactive and digital development work currently lives at ArtStation.
This section can later point towards experiments, tools, prototypes, website work, 3D systems and development notebooks. For launch, it simply keeps the interactive side of the practice visible without adding a premature project structure.
About
Mike Best works across moving image, photography and interactive media.
This site is being relaunched as a simple professional hub first, with deeper portfolio, notebook and case study sections to follow.
The immediate aim is clarity: a single place that explains the shape of the work, points to live external archives where needed, and leaves enough structure in place for the full production site to grow without rebuilding from scratch.
Connect
Get in touch.
For now, email is the cleanest contact route. It keeps the soft launch static, avoids unnecessary form infrastructure, and leaves space to add a more formal contact page or third-party form service later if it becomes genuinely useful.
